Welcome to Wells

England’s smallest city with a population of just 10,000 we have a thriving membership of over 120, ranging from our youngest members at 5 years old to our oldest. We are one big fun loving organisation.

In the past 5 years we have been on trips to Switzerland, France and London.  The Trips to Switzerland and London were to visit 2 of Girlguiding World Centres – we have another 2 to visit… Anyone fancy a trip to Mexico and India?!  These trips were for our older Guides but this does not stop the younger ones from travelling.

Our Brownies have been across the Border to that foreign country of Wales. Well we start them young!! The Brownies normally travel in packs and go on pack holidays which are mainly indoor locations.

Our Guides and Senior Section go on many adventures they go camping and we also in the winter go indoors. We also have trips out.
Other activities participated in range from abseiling to white water rafting; we also do more traditional Guiding activities.

So you ask what the older members get up too... Well our Trefoil Members are very active... they too came with us to Switzerland, France and London and they partook in all the activities laid on from High Wire, abseiling and rollercoaster’s!
